It was like, “Whatever he wants,” so I joked: “Tell them I want to be on the cover of O magazine,” and, “Say I want to be Obama’s VP.”
Describe your new album?
It’s an emotional journey through the last year of my life. I’ve got songs where I sing the whole way through. I’ve got songs where I rap for 32 bars. And I’ve got songs where I just spit. Because I think that’s important, too.
